Tray Insert for MetalPack Manual Tray Sealer Type 290
The tray insert for the MetalPack Manual Tray Sealer Type 290 ensures that a compatible packaging tray is positioned correctly and securely during the sealing process. Each insert is matched to a specific tray type and can be milled to size based on a drawing and/or sample tray.
The insert is placed on the lower table of the machine or, depending on the tray dimensions, on a suitable adapter plate. The underside corresponds with the lower table or adapter plate, while the upper side is shaped to match the tray being sealed.
Each tray insert is fitted with a silicone cord. This supports the tray at the appropriate contact points and also provides insulation during the sealing process. The inserts are easy to exchange, allowing the same tray sealer to be used with different tray types.

Please note: a compatible tray insert is required for each tray type. Depending on the tray dimensions, an adapter plate may also be required. The stated price applies to a standard tray insert that has already been produced previously.
Ordering, delivery & returns
Orders placed on working days before 11:00 AM are, provided the items are in stock, generally dispatched the same working day or scheduled for delivery via a fixed delivery route.
We offer more than 10,000 products. Many items are available directly from stock. If, after placing your order, an item is temporarily on backorder, we will contact you with the expected delivery time.
If you would like to make sure an item is in stock before ordering, please feel free to contact us by telephone, WhatsApp, e-mail or through the contact form on our website. We will be happy to check the current stock for you.
When your order is shipped by a carrier, you will generally receive a Track & Trace message at the e-mail address provided with your order. This allows you to follow the expected delivery time. If you have not received a message, please also check your junk or spam folder.
Where possible, please use the Track & Trace information to ensure that someone is available to receive the order. If a shipment cannot be delivered, further handling is determined by the carrier. A new delivery attempt may result in additional shipping costs.
Returns
If you wish to return an item, please always contact us first. We will be happy to look at the best solution together with you.
Many of our products are intended for direct or indirect contact with food. Once packaging has been opened or the hygienic protection has been broken, we can no longer guarantee the quality and hygienic condition of the contents to a subsequent customer with the same degree of certainty. Opened or partially used packages of products for which hygiene or food contact is relevant cannot therefore generally be returned.
Please check carefully before opening the packaging that you have received the correct item, size, material and product type. If you are unsure, please contact us first.
