The film width must match the machine and the dimensions of the packaging being sealed. A roll that is too narrow or too wide cannot be processed correctly. The core size, roll diameter and winding direction may also be important.

Before ordering, check the technical specifications of the top sealing machine and compare them with the details of the film roll. Matching width alone does not guarantee compatibility with the machine or packaging.

Top-sealed packaging is used for meals, salads, meal components, snacks and other preparations packed in compatible trays. The flat film closes the top without the raised profile of a separate lid.

Suitability for heating, cooling or freezing depends on the complete combination of tray and film. Check the specifications of both the packaging and sealing film.
