Mouthmasks & beard covers

Mouthmasks & beard covers

Disposable face masks and beard covers are used in professional environments where hygiene around the mouth, nose and facial hair is important. Beard covers help contain loose facial hair, while face masks provide a barrier during tasks where clean and controlled working practices are required, depending on the individual design.

The range includes various disposable options for food processing, production, catering, care environments and other workplaces with hygiene requirements. Combined solutions such as astro caps with integrated face covering are also available.

• Face masks: disposable facial coverings for tasks where additional hygienic separation is required.
• Beard covers: lightweight covers designed to help contain loose facial hair.
• Astro caps with face mask: combine head and hair coverage with integrated covering for the mouth and nose.
• Different designs: material, fastening, sizing and any applicable standards vary between products.

Depending on the product, materials such as PP non-woven and other lightweight fibre materials are used. Fastening methods and levels of coverage vary between designs. Always check the individual product specifications where a particular protection level, standard or application is required, as not every disposable face mask provides the same protective properties.

Choose a beard cover when containing facial hair is the main requirement. Where the mouth and nose also need to be covered, a suitable face mask design is more appropriate. For additional hair coverage, our Disposable Headwear range includes hairnets, peaked caps and chef hats.
