Sealable Meal Trays

Sealable meal trays are food containers designed to be closed with compatible topseal film on a suitable sealing machine. They are used for packing, presenting and transporting meals in foodservice, catering, takeaway and delivery applications.

This category includes sealable meal trays made from PP, CPET, palm leaf and sugarcane. Versions with one, two or three compartments are available in different sizes and heights, allowing the packaging to be matched to the dish and required portion size.

The material determines how the tray can be used. PP meal trays are suitable for microwave use but not for the oven. Depending on the version, CPET meal trays can be used in both the microwave and oven at temperatures up to approximately 220 °C. Always check the product specifications for palm leaf, sugarcane and other versions. The required topseal film also varies according to the tray material and design.
